What we do with the details you send us, who sees them, how long we keep them, and what you can ask us to do.
Last updated 15 October 2026.
Who we are
Tyson Wedding Cars, Sherwood House, Green Lane, Doncaster DN5 7UY. We decide what happens to your details. For anything on this page, email rtyson56@btinternet.com or ring 01302 787878.
What we collect
When you send the enquiry form: the date, where the car collects you from, the venue, how many people are in the party, any cars you pick, your name, your phone number or email address, how you heard about us if you tell us, and anything you write in the notes box. The email we receive also says which website or link you arrived from, if any.
When you ring, email or message us on Facebook: whatever you tell us.
When you book: the details we need for the day (names, addresses, timings, the cars and your colour scheme) and a record of what you have paid.
Why we use it
| To answer your enquiry and quote | Because you asked us to, before any booking (taking steps towards a contract). |
|---|---|
| To carry out your booking | To provide what you booked (the contract). |
| To keep our accounts | Because the law requires business records. |
| To see how people found us | So we know which venues, websites and adverts are worth our time (our legitimate interest). Telling us is optional. |
| To thank you after the wedding | We may email once or twice afterwards to ask for a review or any photos of the car. Reply and we will stop (our legitimate interest). |
We never sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who sees it
- The family who run the business, and the chauffeur driving your car on the day.
- Web3Forms passes the enquiry form to our inbox. It acts only on our instructions, keeps a copy of each enquiry for a limited period under its own policy, and runs spam checks that can see your IP address and email address. It operates from India on servers run by Amazon Web Services, with the standard contractual safeguards for data leaving the UK.
- BT provides our email inbox.
- GitHub (in the United States) hosts this website. Like any web host, it logs visitors’ IP addresses to keep the site secure.
We share your details with anyone else only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- An enquiry that does not turn into a booking: deleted within 12 months.
- A booking: kept for six years after the wedding, because that is how long business records have to be kept for tax.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Links to it from our
Facebook page or Google profile carry a short tag (such as ?ref=facebook). If
you send the enquiry form, that tag goes into the email so we know where you found us.
Nothing is stored on the website.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email or ring us and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
